I chose the obedient dog private lessons, and I can't say enough positive things about Anyssa!! She is kind, compassionate ,and PATIENT!!! It is amazing to watch her work, she has a true gift. She helped us with so many things!! We thank her for what she does & are so excited to start moving toward off leash!!

Working with Anyssa has been the best choice I’ve ever made for me and my dog Memphis! I see a drastic difference in his behavior thanks to her and I feel empowered moving forward because I know exactly how to continue to help him learn. She is so knowledgeable, energetic, and fun - Memphis goes crazy when she comes to our house! He just graduated from his program yesterday, but I am certain we will be calling her for check ins in the future because we already miss her. Anyssa is an amazing person I really connected to. She made the whole experience so smooth and personable. She informs you of all her processes and her approach. My 7 (now 8) month old Belgian Malinois/German Shepherd mix was LOVED by her like he was her own! For 4 whole weeks, she sent CONSTANT pictures, videos and updates of his training which made me know I chose the right person for the job. My pup was pulling, not listening, and i felt like he would run off in an instant. He now listens, walks next to me and doesn’t run out the door and I feel comfortable with him off leash. She came to me and did lessons to make sure I was trained properly on how to utilize his new commands and I’m a more confident dog owner! I cannot be anymore grateful for 4 Paws Canine Training.

Being a “dog mom” has completely changed once we started training. I can now cook full meals without paws jumping up on the countertops, and just peacefully take my pup out for a nice walk. DescriptioI don’t know how to put into words just how appreciative I am to Annysa! We communicated and chose the 4 week board and train which turned out perfect. She communicated so well with me throughout the entire process. (I LOVE all the pics + training updates) I trusted her 100% with my Archie bean! Reflecting on our first conversation about my major concerns with Archie.. every single one has been addressed. Reactivity (on the leash, in the car, etc) , counter surfing, barking excessively, jumping, etc). My absolute FAVORITE is how she instilled in Archie the recall skills that make life SO much easier! She was willing to come to my house before a Christmas party and assist me with strategies to implement when we had large family gatherings… how dang amazing is that?!? Anyssa is simply amazing! Kind, patient, and compassionate about what she does. She is such a great trainer, and worked wonders with our Rottie, Cuda. We have 2 small children which made our training a little different and challenging BUT Anyssa supplied us with all the training tools to be successful. I could not have asked for any better!

Maggie had a boat load of anxiety issues before going to Anyssa. After a month of hard core boot camp, Maggie came home with almost every issue fixed! Anyssa gave me daily communication along with pictures and videos. Maggie still has a long way to go, but now I have the keys to success thanks to Anyssa❤️

The experience that we've had with Anyssa and 4 Paws Canine Training is one of the best companies and people that we've ever dealt with. She cares so much not just about training our puppy, MJ, but she's also great at making sure the humans are being trained on what we need to do when she leaves. Her experience as a dog trainer is second to none.

Everything she has done with us during our lessons has made such an impact on our puppy and is helping us make sure he succeeds as a city dog being able to do anything that we want to do. We signed up for the 3 lesson puppy program and we liked her and her training so much that we're going to continue to proceed with more lessons to make sure our pup continues to grow and learn over the next few months.

If she's available and you're thinking about taking your pup to classes with a lot of other dogs or getting 1on1 training, go with her. She's always available and it's also great to be able to reach out to her for help. It doesn't need to be a lesson day. You'll get support (messages, videos, examples etc) from her that will help you raise the puppy that you want.

We would recommend Anyssa at 4 Paws to anyone needing some help with their dog. We had a pound pup that was a sweetheart, but an absolute menace. We went with 7 private training lessons. Anyssa knew exactly what to do and was extremely knowledgeable on breed specific training needs. One of our goals was to not have to worry about the pup with our cats. 4 Paws taught us how to counter condition, and now the dog fully ignores the cats. He’s respectful on a leash and in public, but still has his silly goober personality. You wouldn’t believe it’s the same dog we started with. Anyssa is extremely professional and a blast to work with. We learned so much and are going to miss our lessons now that we’ve graduated.

Anyssa was amazing with our golden retriever pup Arlo during his Puppy Jumpstart program! She provided us with the tools we need to help Arlo succeed as we move forward with his training. She stays in touch throughout your program and even after you have completed it to offer any help you may need. We are definitely going to be doing more sessions with her!

Without question your best option when it comes to training in the Mid TN area! Anyssa has been the best resource and advocate for me to become a better Aussie dad and for Mayo to be the best dog I’ve ever had. Our Australian Shepherd, Dawson, could not have had a better trainer! In just a few lessons, Anyssa not only taught Dawson but taught us as well so we could be the best owners for our crazy active boy.
