Our Story

My name is Anyssa Loux and I have been training dogs professionally for the last 7 years. In 2014, I started working in the animal industry at a doggy daycare and from there I knew I wanted to expand my knowledge and grow! In 2016 I adopted my German Shepherd mix Foxy, and she kick started my career in dog training. She had a rough start and was seized from a breeding raid and was very under socialized in all aspects of life. At that point in time, I had no idea how to help her and wanted to help create the best life for her that I could. In 2017 I started working at a Dog Training Facility in Boise, Idaho where I quickly fell in love with this industry and helping dogs and clients reach their full potential. Half way through college, I realized that training dogs was my passion and decided to pursue that career route once I graduated college. I attended Boise State University where I earned a Bachelor’s of Psychology and graduated in 2018. I was also fortunate enough to attend the Prestige’s Michael Ellis School for Dog Trainers In California. My experience in this industry has mostly come from hands on training aka the school of hard knox!

I have worked with all types of dogs: puppies, reactive, aggressive, you name it I have probably trained it! My specialties include leash reactivity, young dogs and advanced off leash obedience.

When I’m not training clients dogs, I am competing with my American Field Lab Boss Or my Australian Shepherd Cash. Boss & I travel to compete in Hunt Tests and Dock Diving Events. Boss just recently earned his Master’s Dock Diving Title and his Junior Hunter Title. Cash has titles in Dock Diving, a CGC & an AKC Trick Title. Our plans for 2024 include Shed Hunting, frisbee, more hunt tests & dock diving!
